How to Create a Trimble ID
Introduction
A Trimble ID is your account for accessing SketchUp and other Trimble services. You'll need it to start a free trial, access your subscription, and sign in to SketchUp.
If you're new to SketchUp, you'll need a Trimble ID before you can start a free trial, access your subscription, or sign in to SketchUp.
Before You Begin
Before creating or activating your Trimble ID, make sure that:
Have access to the email address you want to use.
Check your Spam or Junk folder if you're expecting a welcome email.
Use the same email address associated with your SketchUp purchase whenever possible.
Already have a Trimble ID? Simply sign in with your existing account. There's no need to create a new one.
Create Your Trimble ID
You can create a Trimble ID at any time from the Trimble Account page.
Visit myaccount.trimble.com.
Click Create a Trimble ID.
Enter your details.
Verify your email.
Sign in with your new account.
Tip: If you've already purchased SketchUp, we recommend using the same email address associated with your order to ensure your subscription is linked correctly.
Purchased SketchUp Through SketchUp My World?
If you've recently purchased SketchUp through SketchUp My World, you'll receive a welcome email from Trimble once your order has been processed and your subscription has been assigned.
Open the email from Trimble.
Click Create Your Trimble ID.
Follow the on-screen instructions.
Verify your email address.
Sign in with your new Trimble ID.
Note: Your activation link is valid for 72 hours. If it expires, you'll need to request a new activation or reset your password.
Next Step
Once your Trimble ID has been created, you're ready to activate your SketchUp Free Trial or access your SketchUp subscription!
Need Help?
I haven't received my welcome email.
Your welcome email will be sent by Trimble after your order has been processed and your subscription has been assigned. This usually takes up to one business day.
Please check your Spam or Junk folder before contacting our Technical Support team.
I think I already have a Trimble ID.
Try signing in with the email address you previously used before creating a new account. If you can't remember your password, you can reset it using the Forgot Password option.
